Emmy’s 2019 brought us some nice, some boring fashion moments, but nothing is as memorable as fashion disasters. Let’s face it: any publicity is good publicity, so the worst dressed may gain more coverage even than the winners. Let’s see who were the worst dressed ladies at Emmy’s 2019. Why only ladies? Because men’s fashion cannot be as exciting as women’s. Unless you are Lenny Kravitz.
It’s the biggest night in television, so one of the most famous reality TV stars decided to go full-on glam. No, it’s not Kim Kardashian, in fact, she wore a nice dress. It was Kendall Jenner in mermaid Richard Quinn gown with weird latex turtleneck.
Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow was American fashion royalty? Good times. Now, it’s all about wrinkles and feathers. No, not the face wrinkles. Her face is just fine, her skirt needed some ironing. Just consciously uncouple with this Valentino!
Jenny McCarthy brought some punk to the Emmy’s. Princess dress and punk rock boots are so Avril Lavigne circa 2005. Even then, it was cute because Avril was very young. So, dear Miss McCarthy, those boots and that belt are wrong on several levels. From dressing your age to just plain old “less is more.”
“Orange Is The New Black” star Dascha Polanco wore a dress with some interesting details. Interesting is a code for tacky, in this case. Christian Siriano gown looks like something Dynasty threw up.
Among the worst dressed ladies at Emmy’s 2019 are two magnificent actresses. Amy Adams wore some Fendi organza monstrosity. You think that’s cruel? Check out the whole outfit and it is cruel to put such a sweet and beautiful woman into that.
The other beloved fashion victim was Taraji P. Henson. We love good color-block and we love pink plus red. But this looks less like a dress and more like a beachwear.
This is just the beginning. Emmy’s 2019 are a powerful intro into an award season. We hope to see some memorable fashion moments and that includes fashion disasters.
