Madonna Wants The Pope Hates Instagram, Loves Jean Paul Gaultier

It’s been busy summer for the Queen Of Pop. Madonna first declared she is done talking about her age in a very expressive interview for British Vogue. Her 14. studio album “Madame X” doesn’t seem to be doing that well, but focus on her DOB seems like a hot topic. “Now I’m fighting ageism, now I’m being punished for turning 60,” said Madonna.

Pop icon declared she hates Instagram and wants to meet the pope. What’s that all about? Oh, and Jean-Paul Gaultier proposed to Madonna.

Let’s get one thing straight: ageism is a real thing, and women suffer more than men can imagine. Men age like a fine wine; they are silver foxes, women aren’t even allowed to have grey hair. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Madonna wants to meet Pope Francis to tell him Jesus would support abortion. Queen of Pop grew up Catholic and said she wants to change the Vatican’s stance on reproductive rights. Her motives seem pure, but this is a conversation for politicians or maybe some church elderlies in The States. But this is why Madonna rules: she goes straight to the source or in this case, says something highly controversial and demands to see “the CEO”, not some “managers”.

Despite using Instagram to promote her causes, music, and brand, Madonna is not a fan of social networks. “The social media culture runs people’s lives and, as a result, it’s now harder for stars to stick to your guns and be who you are… The world needs that. We need voices that are unique, we need inspiration. And that’s what people don’t understand — I want our other artists to think outside the box.”

Madonna gave an interview to The Dan Wootton podcast and it is basically the same thing we heard from many celebrities, including Prince Harry. Yet, the same people are always on the platform and to further quote pop queen: “You get caught up in comparing yourself to others. I think Instagram is made to make you feel bad.” Why not close the account? There are so many ways to communicate with fans. If your Instagram is making you feel like you are worthless, just shut it down.

Why is this news-worthy? Because Madonna always seems to know what she wants and where is she going. Complaining about Instagram doesn’t sound like her. Demanding to see the Pope does. It is what her public persona has always been and the world needs fierce Madonna, not the Prince Harry version.

In some light news, Jean-Paul Gaultier proposed to Madonna THREE times! While celebrating 50 years in fashion, the designer said: ” I was kind of, I asked her to marry me three times … and she said no.” Still, they are close friends and coworkers, and Madonna is one of his best advertisements!
