Beyonce is more than just a singer/songwriter and a part-time actress. She is also a proper fashionista, which you noticed if you checked out her Instagram. While everyone is freaking out about whether she’s pregnant or not, we noticed that Queen Bey is a trendsetter.
Glittery suit? Beyonce wore it. Micro bags? Bey has a whole bunch of those. Oh, and she nailed that oversized hats trend. It’s tricky and most stars used raffia hats on the beach. We saw it so many times, but with Beyonce, it just had to be different.
One might say that Rihanna is a perfect example of someone who loves to match the unthinkable. Taylor Swift’s style is basic, yet cute and girly. But with Jay’Z wife, everything is extra. And this is nothing new. Beyonce and her sister Solange may have different styles, but they are always looking interesting, powerful, feminine. They are in charge, so bow to the style Queens.
If you think this is superficial, think again. For the first time in entertainment history, the most powerful female star isn’t white. It’s Beyonce and you just know that when she’s talking, we are listening. But she also speaks for all women, which is kind of a point, if you think about it.
Bey isn’t size zero. She’s not Victoria’s Secret model or Victoria Beckham. Her body is bootylicious and ever since Destiny’s Child, she has been proud to show off her curves.
Don’t think for one second that Beyonce wears outfits just cos she feels like it. She is making a statement. Remember when she only wore African designers? Also noted, while she loves the French Couture (who doesn’t), she enjoys promoting up and coming designers. And while she’s at it, she dropped the new BeySearch Collection.
