It’s no secret that celebrities are obsessed with tattoos and get new ones all the time. Some celebs collect tattoos almost like clothes. It’s not like they can’t afford to have the ink removed if they wind up regretting a particular tattoo.
Here are a few examples of the types of tattoos celebs are getting: some on the weirder side and some sentimental.
Usher
Well-known LA tattoo artist Dillon Forte just posted this interesting piece of geometric art on the back of the R&B superstar’s head / neck. The tattoo is described as being “inspired by sacred geometry and an ancient Berber stone marking cardinal points in the sky”. However, Usher getting this tattoo is controversial. While Forte’s art is praised, a lot of fans are questioning why the singer made such a drastic decision to get a giant tattoo on the back of his head.
Pete Davidson
Another Instagram post popped up recently with artist Ryan Mullins showing off his unicorn on Pete Davidson. This unicorn isn’t of the sparkly, colorful variety, but of the more realistic detailed equine variety, which takes up a huge portion of his forearm.
Lady Gaga
No stranger to ink, Gaga just transformed her “spinal cord into a rose” with her “la vie en rose” tattoo. She recently gave props to popular “go-to” Hollywood artist Winter Stone. The tattoo is in reference to her character Ally’s performance on A Star is Born.
Demi Lovato
It’s been a few years since Demi shared the heartbreaking news of her little dog Buddy’s tragic death. She even created an Instagram account for him. This past winter, she got a tattoo of the sweet doggy’s face on her ankle with the words “Buddy was here”, which was done by Dr. Woo.
Jessica Alba
Also paying a visit to Dr. Woo was Jessica Alba, who showed off her three new zodiac tattoos on Instagram. She got the signs of her three children (Honor – Gemini, Haven – Leo, and Hayes – Capricorn) drawn on her arm.
Celebrities are literally getting new tattoos everyday that it’s impossible to keep track of them all!
