Victoria’s Secret show may be canceled, but Lily Aldridge is a star in her own right. Elsa Hosk, Romee Strijd, Jasmine Tookes, Martha Hunt, Taylor Hill, Joan Smalls, Adriana Lima, and Stella Maxwell helper 33-year-old model launch her first perfume.
Haven is the first one and it’s inspired by her home in Nashville. The other three will be available soon, and if you trust Lily Aldridge, she doesn’t have a favorite: “I’ll wear different fragrances based on my mood and a feeling and/or look that I am trying to evoke.”
Aldridge has been developing her fragrances over the past two years. The first one is called Haven and the price is 50 USD. Californian beauty spoke to Us Weekly about her venture. “Creating scents is so personal; I tested so many variations of what I wanted and I’m involved with the final outcome!” VS angel and mom of two continued: “Putting perfume on for me is part of my beauty process, it is the final step before leaving the house that gets me ready for a beautiful day and it makes me feel good ”
The American model is known mostly for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl. She is married to Caleb Followill from Kings of Leon and is one of the friendliest models you will ever meet. Her co-workers, supermodels, skipped more publicized events on NYFW to show their support, which speaks a lot about them and Lily.
This is clearly a case of women supporting women, and we aren’t even going to make snarky fashion comments. Let’s face it: all the women looked gorgeous and they were clearly happy to catch up and be themselves. On a superficial note, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, and Taylor Hill looked heavenly. But, it’s not like they are the new supermodels for no reason…
