Eva Mendes Up Close and Personal

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are a notoriously private couple. We know that they have two daughters and they most likely aren’t married. Eva Mendes appeared on Access Daily and did something unusual: she talked about her children and her partner.

Speaking about her kids, Mendes said: ” Oh gosh, it’s so fun and beautiful and maddening. It’s maddening. It’s so hard, of course. But it’s like that feeling of like, really, you end your day, you put them to bed, and Ryan and I kind of look at each other like, ‘We did it, we did it. We came out relatively unscathed, you know?”

Esmeralda, 5, and Amada, 3 still don’t have the acting bug. The actress explained: “Right now, they have every bug. They just like a lot of arts and crafts, a lot of painting. We have instruments around. They pick them up, and we can’t say they actually play anything, but you know, it’s just a playful environment, and it’s a lot of fun but who knows?”

As for Ryan Gosling, and their date night, Mendes did say that it takes a lot of work to make that alone time. “Luckily, we have a lot of family support. My family lives here. His family comes in. They live in Canada, but they come in all the time and stay for a very long time, and it’s very welcomed. And so we have that support,” she added.

Would she love to work again with Gosling? Absolutely! Mendes is still head over heels over her partner: “He’s just such a creative genius,” she said. “There’s always stuff going on there, but I would love to at any time. I would audition for him any day so—that was a joke. I don’t need to audition for him.” That said, Mendes told the hosts she “loved” the experience working with him before.”

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling met in 2012 while filming The Place Beyond the Pines. They stayed away from the public eye, but after two girls and seven years together, they seem to be more comfortable with the attention. Yes, the couple is refreshingly normal, especially for Hollywood standards. Good for them!
