Celine Dion is in Paris at the moment and you know what that means: a whole lot of very quirky, borderline bizarre outfits.
Famous Canadian singer, 51, has been experimenting with fashion for a while now and one thing’s for sure: she isn’t afraid to take risks. One of her latest outfits, leotard from OffWhite shows a lot of legs, but the Dion trains four times a week and practices ballet. That means that she has better legs than many women in their 20s.
L’Oréal spokesperson had another leggy outfit: bright yellow frilly mini, an 80s inspired top, and mismatched heels.
For Miu Miu’s event, also in Paris, Celine wore retro prom dress in fuchsia, with some questionable bows. Before that, she was spotted in drop crotch trousers, with a matching red top and sunglasses.
Before we move to one very important conclusion, I have to add that Celine Dion almost exclusively wears Couture pieces and she is now a regular at Haute Couture week. The famous singer is making a new album, Courage, out in November. We are looking forward to seeing more of her avant-garde fashion moments, and here’s why.
Now, let’s not forget that fashion should be fun and exciting, but more importantly, Celine Dion made a name due to her talent. And her fashion choices are empowering to all the women.
We live in an ageist society, so seeing all the talented ladies making their own rules is a step in the right direction. You will see many negative comments about her looks, due to her age and the fact that she’s not a conventional beauty. You will also read that she is too skinny and far worse, but it is not your body and you don’t have to wear the same outfits.
Take some fashion risks and try to make a statement. Celine is doing just that and she looks happy with her choices.
