Styles is the face of Gucci’s new Mémoire d’une Odeur fragrance campaign Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele is a big fan of the young Brit and Harry is one of his muses. So what does former One Direction heart-breaker has to say about his style and the new perfume he’s promoting:

“I used to wear all black all of the time…but I was realizing dressing up was a part of the show, if you will. Especially when performing. So, I think for the people I have always admired and looked up to in music, clothes have always been a big part of the thing. Like Bowie, Elvis Presley. It’s always been part of the thing.” Then young singer added that it helps that he loves clothes, which helps with his stage presence.

What’s cool about Harry Styles’ style is that he mixes and matches decades, play with gender roles. He brings retro 70s glam rock into the modern age and manages to look effortlessly cool. Kind of like Sienna Miller or Solange. We really haven’t seen so many men in fabulous outfits, which makes Styles stand out even more.

What’s on his must-have list? Well, there are suits. Not just your typical, masculine suits in grey or black. Harry likes to be theatrical, to bring drama into his nights out. Suits can be from velvet, with patterns, even embroidery.

Styles’ solo album did great back in 2017, so the fans want to know when will he return to the studio. Yet, he may be a bit busy at the moment, since he’s most likely to play Eric in Little Mermaid.
