2019 Apple WWDC is underway; and here are the major highlights so far

As usual, Apple’s annual WWDC kicked off earlier today with lots of expectations and insight into their latest innovations.

The conference, hosted at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California, will end on Friday after an eventful five days. During this time, Apple intends to showcase its latest innovations in terms of software technology and OS to the participants.

Additionally, software developers present can engage in hands-on, in-depth test and review sessions with Apple engineers during the event. While all hands are on deck to see what Apple has in store for the upcoming iteration of their iPhone series, the event is always a platform to take a sneak peek at the new software that will power the next-gen iPhones.

As at today, we already have some updates that will determine the features and functions of the upcoming Apple devices.

Finally, iTunes has been laid to rest

And it finally happened; after so many rounds of rumors, speculations, and confirmed press release from Apple. In an expected move, Apple officially ends support for one of its oldest and most powerful app, the iTunes.
After eighteen solid years, the robust audio and video program will be giving way for three separate apps on iOS. The apps, which are Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts will do everything that the iTunes can do.

New iOS 13 brings “dark mode” to Apple devices

The new Apple iOS 13, will bring a new optional dark mode feature to supported iPhones, iPod touch, and iPads. The feature will accentuate lighter text on a crisp dark background to make them more receptive to the eyes even under a dim lighting condition.

New “Sign In with Apple” feature for enhanced privacy

Apple introduces a new Sign in with Apple feature that uses the built-in FaceID biometric systems to gain access to third-party apps.

How does this work?

Every time you try to login to any outside app, it authenticates your details with FaceID and generates a random email address to while masking your original email address.

Expect a new, more powerful Mac Pro Desktop in the fall

After its release in 2013, the Mac Pro is eventually getting an update- to the delight of professional Mac users.
