Last night’s Met Gala gave us everything from startling dresses to jaw-dropping looks and Kim Kardashian West’s Mugler Drip was a stunner.

The beaded Thierry Mugler dress when combined the pure latex form that it was in, was the apt representation of coming “Straight out of the Ocean.” According to sources this dress was initially designed to celebrate the opening of the new theatrical exhibition, “Camp; Notes on Fashion,” hosted by the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, and took 8 months to be completed.

Nevertheless, this masterpiece couldn’t have come together without Kardashian West’s completed look; with the sexy wet hair, corset fitted curves, DEWY-bronzy makeup, and OH the droplets on her nails (just made everything come together effortlessly)

Kardashian West’s look for the evening was possibly inspired by the pretty Sophia Loren. As prior to the reveal of the Mugler Drip on the red carpet, Loren’s pictures from the Boy on a Dolphin,in her iconic wet look were posted on Kim’s Instagram story.
