European royals attended the annual Order of the Garter service. It was quite the party, led by Queen Elizabeth II and Kate, Duchess Of Cambridge. They were joined by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Sophie of Essex, Queen Letizia of Spain, King Felipe VI of Spain and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, as the Queen officially invested them as Supernumerary, or Stranger, Knights of the Garter.
All eyes were on the Royal Ladies, their fancy hats and vintage jewelry. Kate wore Catherine Walker coat dress in white with black details and a black fascinator.
The Duchess of Cornwall and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands were in blushing pink outfits, while Letizia stayed loyal to her roots in Cherubina, Spanish brand.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a carriage ride with Spanish King and Queen and the ladies looked so very well color-coordinated, one would think they made some secret fashion pact.
The 700-years old tradition recognizes contributions of exceptional public service. It is usually reserved for British Lords, but ever since the early 1800s, it is a way to honor foreign royals as well.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate are still struggling with cheating rumors. Despite legal actions taken by the future King, the media won’t stop speculating. If there are any signs of trouble in their marriage, then Kate must be the best actress in the world, because the lady is looking better than ever!
As much as we love to gossip, the world does not need another royal love triangle, because we all know how that story ends.
