It’s mid-2019, and Samsung seems to be having it all going its way when it comes to their smartphones. At the moment, the firm can boast of a truly overwhelming plethora of top-of-the-line flagship models that top the smartphone charts. The popular Galaxy S10E, S10, S10+, and the newly-introduced Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Fold all scream premium and uphold the quality that the Samsung brand represents.
While the brand’s Galaxy S model paved the way for smartphone users to break free from their Apple addiction, the Galaxy Note model has always been in a world of its own.
The Galaxy Note Series still rules the phablet world; year in, year out.
The first Note models were released at a time when many people considered them too unwieldy for ease of use and flexibility. But ever since then, the Note series has undergone a series of changes and upgrades that eventually won the admiration of its critics. The Note Series ticks all the boxes for users with a penchant for more productivity and multitasking features.
Unlike the regular S models, Samsung uses the Note series to show off its latest mobile innovations and advancements.
As usual, Samsung is gearing up for the annual release of its flagship Note series, the Note 10. The rumor mill is already buzzing as many tipsters continue to leak several designs and concepts of the final finish.
The Upcoming Note 10 will retain many S10’s features- except the headphone jack
Most notably among the concepts and renders leaked online is the conspicuously missing 3.5mm headphone jack. If the leaks are anything to go by, Samsung is finally going the Apple way by ditching the headphone port.
Just like its S10 siblings, the upcoming Note 10 might come in multiple models with similar designs but subtle differences. In another similar fashion, the Note 10 will retain the S10’s hole-punch display for the front-facing camera albeit, at the center.
The Galaxy S10 models come with a whole lot of camera sensors for the photo-centric users. While it remains unclear whether Samsung will increase the megapixel count or not, the multiple sensors will definitely be present on the Note 10.
Additionally, the rear camera alignment will take a vertical approach, unlike the horizontally arranged camera sensors on the S10 series.
Top-of-the-line Specs
The Galaxy Note series is synonymous with cutting edge features and top-notch performance, which the next Galaxy Note will uphold.
Expectedly, the Galaxy Note 10 will retain some traditional Galaxy phone features including a MicroSD slot and fast wireless charging. That is excluding the 3.5mm headphone jack- of course.
And the Galaxy Note 10 isn’t a Note without these powerful features
Recent leaks suggested the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor for the North American variants or the Exynos 9820 for the international variants. The Galaxy Note 10 will come with 1TB internal storage and a 12GB of RAM for a great multitasking experience.
On top of these, it will sport a sizeable 6.3-inch and 6.75-inch display for the regular Note and Note Pro respectively. The Note Pro’s display will be the biggest on any Note series so far. At 6.75-inch, the display dwarfs the 6.7-inch display on the S10 5G, which has the largest display on Samsung’s phablet.
Upon release, the Note 10 models will sport the latest Android OS alongside Samsung’s new One UI skin. There are rumors the ditched headphone jack may give way for a stronger and more powerful battery on the Note 10.
