Everything About Emma Stone as Young Cruella

Emma Stone is filming a movie called Cruella. Yes, the same Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians. We loved Glenn Close’s 1996 adaptation, but don’t worry, this movie promises something a bit different.

Emma Stone is going to be young Cruella living in the punk rock era of 1970’s London. And yes, according to the first poster, fashion is going to be extraordinary and full of Haute Couture pieces.

Starring alongside Emma Stone are Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry, plus some puppies, according to the first photo. The movie was presented during Disney’s D23 Expo, but it won’t be out anytime soon. The release date is set for May 28, 2021.

The movie will give us background information on what made her so devious, and how she became one of the best villains among all dog-lovers. We aren’t into remakes, prequels, sequels, but this looks fierce. It’s Sex Pistols, Vivienne Westwood and glam rock, plus puppies and Emma Stone. What’s not to love? Oh, the fact that she will try to kidnap 101 Dalmatians 20 years later?

Since we have almost two years until this one comes out, we have plenty of time to re-watch the cartoon and live-action movie from the 90s.
