The Oscar-winning actress, Sandra Bullock, is developing a series with Amazon loosely inspired by her own college years.
The dramedy will take place in the 80s and follow a “darkly off-beat young woman”. The show will explore topics such as AIDS, mental health, drag culture and other interesting topics from the decade. That includes the music as well, which is probably the best and the worst the 80s have to offer.
John Legend and Akiva Goldsman are going to join Miss Bullock as producers. Now that the unnamed TV show got a green light, we cannot wait to see who’s going to play the American’s sweetheart.
As for newly married British actor Jude Law, he set to star in HBO and Sky’s six-part miniseries “The Third Day”. The drama comes after the success of Chernobyl, also done by the two companies.
Jude Law will play Sam, who encounters the mysterious island’s secretive inhabitants and strange rituals. The filming will start in July, but it won’t hit the small screens until 2020. Later in 2020, we will see Jude as Dr. Watson, once again as he will once again join Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Holmes.
If you cannot wait to see Mister Law or you just want some good TV, check out “The Young Pope“. It is a delicious, heavenly experience. If you already saw it, tell us, was it good for you as it was for us?
