Prince of Wales aka Prince Charles visited the cursed set of James Bond’s “Bond 25”. He met Daniel Craig, Mister Bond himself, as well as Naomi Harris, and Ralph Fiennes. Since his mom, Queen Elizabeth II already met James Bond on the Olympics in 2012, we are keeping our fingers crossed for some Charles cameo.
Prince Charles was visiting as a royal patron of both the British Film Institute and the U.K. intelligence services. The actors and the crew needed some good publicity after a series of misfortunate events.
Craig just got back to filming after hurting his ankle. Before, the director Cary Fukunaga went missing for several hours, while the first director Danny Boyle left because of creative differences. There was even an explosion at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. Luckily, no one got seriously injured.
The movie is still set for April 2020, though many predict it won’t happen, some even say this Bond is cursed. As for Prince Charles, he got to ride a new Aston Martin, probably a martini or two or got to relive the days when he first met Bond. It was in 1986 and Prince Charles and Princess Diana visited the set of “The Living Daylights” and met the then-Bond Timothy Dalton.
Hopefully, His Royal Highness brought some good luck to the set so that Craig can retire from the role in peace. The part of the most famous British agent in history already caused several injuries to the actor, who infamously said, after Spectre: “I’d rather slash my wrists than play James Bond again.” That didn’t happen, guess everyone has the price.
