The trailer for the “Downton Abbey” film looks fantastic!!

Unlike Game of Thrones, the finale of Downtown Abbey left most of the viewers pretty satisfied. Not every character got a happy ending, but it was well written and realistic, considering it was a soapy period drama.

While there was no need for Downtown Abbey The Movie, the popularity of the show left producers enough time and money to come up with it and here is the first full-length trailer.

Great actors, wonderful costumes, nature and castles and if you add the Queen and King into the mix, this is going to be one of those enjoyable movies, that won’t change your life, but will leave you with a smile on your face.

Since it Downtown Abbey Film will be out in September, it will be a prefect way to end a summer. What are your thoughts?
